Hand-painted Silks

2020 brought about a change of focus in Margaret’s practice and she has returned to her passion for painting on silk. The fluidity and freedom of this medium is a major attraction for Margaret. She has been creating a series of silk scarves inspired by flowers and plants in her garden and in the nearby woods. Her work reflects her interest in the natural world and its changing seasons. Each unique silk is a painting to a hand-made original design.
